Ireland's has published details of 31 fixed payment notices and compliance notices issued to 18 traders, according to reporting by the Avondhu Press. The traders are based in Waterford, Donegal, Dublin, Galway, Kerry and Wicklow, and the measures followed inspections and investigations by CCPC officers in store and online.
The CCPC states the traders committed a range of consumer rights breaches, including failure to comply with price display laws, failure to display unit pricing, and giving consumers misleading information about their rights. One trader is said to have failed to display a required precious metals information .
