Amelia man sentenced to life in prison for rape of child
Jonathan T. Hall, 26, of Amelia, was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole after 10 years in the Clinton County Common Pleas Court, according to the Highland County Press.
Hall was indicted by a grand jury in April on four counts of rape, all felonies of the first degree. The indictment followed an investigation opened in January after a report was made to the Blanchester Police Department. The report was for a sex offense involving a victim under the age of 10, the Highland County Press reported.
The investigation involved the Blanchester Police Department, Clinton County Children Services, the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office, and the Cincinnati Police Department Major Offender Unit, according to the Highland County Press.
