Germany charges seven suspected Hamas members over alleged planned attack
Seven suspected Hamas members have been charged in Germany with membership in a foreign terrorist organisation and preparing an attack, wdez.com reported.
The government claims the seven acted on orders from senior Hamas figures and secured a fully automatic rifle, 13 pistols and more than 700 rounds of ammunition for a planned attack in Germany or Austria in early October 2025, timed to the second anniversary of Hamas' attacks on Israel and targeting Israeli representatives, Jews or pro-Israel individuals, according to wdez.com.
The case is at the charging stage. The charges are allegations and the accused are presumed innocent; no verdict has been reached.
