Extreme Heat Warning Issued for Puerto Rico, In Effect 10 AM to 5 PM AST
The National Weather Service San Juan PR has issued an Extreme Heat Warning for portions of Puerto Rico, according to the agency's warning record. The warning is in effect from 10 AM AST to 5 PM AST on Friday, September 11, 2026.
The warning covers 11 zones: San Juan and Vicinity, Northeast, Southeast, Eastern Interior, North Central, Central Interior, Ponce and Vicinity, Northwest, Western Interior, Mayaguez and Vicinity, and Southwest.
