Flood Watch Extended for Parts of Nebraska Through Early Sunday
The National Weather Service has extended a Flood Watch for portions of panhandle and southwest Nebraska until 3 AM MDT Sunday.
Everything reported for Cheyenne County and within 40 miles of it, at every level. Warnings and official records name the county they apply to, which is the level most of them are issued at.

A Flood Watch is in effect on August 15, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. for 15 zones across Nebraska and Wyoming.
Federal funds will help governments repair public infrastructure after the Morrill-Cottonwood Fire; no household grants are included.
