The National Weather Service has extended the Dense Fog Advisory for portions of central New York and northeast Pennsylvania, including Steuben, Schuyler, and Chemung counties, until 10 AM EDT Friday.
A heat advisory takes effect August 27, 2018, with heat index values expected to reach up to 100 degrees.
